Many ICF Toronto events (including most monthly meetings) qualify for ICF's Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEU).

    The Internal Coaches Roundtable is for coaches who work full time for an organization and offer coaching as either part or all of their role. Both ICF Toronto members and ICF Global members are welcome to join.

    The roundtable will focus on:

    • Role and challenges of an Internal coach
    • Strategies around creating a coaching culture internally
    • Competencies of an impactful internal coach
    • Coaching outcomes in the context of the organization
    • How internal coaches facilitate organization transformation and growth

    20th Anniversary Year End Party

    CELEBRATE • LEAD  DREAM 

    We are closing out our year of celebration with a final party event Thursday December 5th 5:30pm!

    It promises to be an evening of socializing, networking and fun. We will launch the final video in our 20th anniversary series – DREAM

    ICF members and non-members are welcome!

    We have also invited Coach Connect participants, past Board members and past PRISM Award winners.

    Registration fee includes drink ticket, generous hors d’oeuvres and plenty of time for socializing before and after the 7:30 pm video presentation.

    The event will take place from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at The Spoke Club, in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant King West Strip (600 King Street West at Portland). TTC streetcar stops at Portland and parking is nearby.

    David B. Peterson, PhD

    An innovative practitioner and thought leader in executive coaching and leadership development for over 25 years, David has coached leaders in top organizations around the world and trained and mentored hundreds of other executive coaches. A world-class coach and highly-regarded author and speaker, David is known for being on the cutting edge of the profession, challenging the conventional wisdom, and exploring provocative new ideas to make development faster, better, and more rewarding for leaders and their organizations. His books include Development FIRST: Strategies for Self-development and Leader as Coach: Strategies for Coaching & Developing Others, with over a million copies sold.

    As Director of Executive Coaching and Leadership for Google since 2011, he coaches senior leaders, manages the global network of internal and external coaches, and supports innovative, high-impact approaches to develop Google’s leaders to meet current, emergent, and disruptive challenges. He received his PhD in organizational psychology from the University of Minnesota. He is a co-founder of two organizations, 7 Paths Forward (7PathsForward.com) and the Institute for Contemporary Leadership (ContemporaryLeadership.com), designed to accelerate development for executive coaches and leaders, respectively, and prepare them to thrive and have greater impact in times of complexity and disruptive change.

    Amanda Blake

    Amanda Blake is the author of the award-winning book Your Body Is Your Brain, and creator of the Body = Brain course on the neurobiology of experiential leadership learning. In addition to teaching about the art and science of embodiment, she works with progressive leaders worldwide to help them become their best self, enjoy life more, and make a bigger contribution. Once an internationally competitive athlete, Mandy is skilled at cultivating high performance in herself and others. She is a Master Somatic Leadership Coach, holds a degree in Human Biology from Stanford University, and is a Research Fellow at the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit. She’s also a longtime yoga enthusiast, mountaineer, musician, and celebrator of life. Learn more at embright.org.

    Nicole Robertson

    As reluctant as she is to admit it, Nicole has over 30 years of experience in this talking head stuff. A storyteller with a healthy disregard for the ordinary, an overwhelming fondness for common sense and a passion for turning potential into performance, Nicole wanders well outside the lines to help people find ways to improve how they communicate, learn, lead and make their way in the world.

    Oh, and in the fine print, her time in the academic world as a lecturer in human behaviour, her background as a competitive athlete and a great client roster all combine to provide a grounding in the real world to help people and their companies outpace the competition and get to the top of their game.

We meet the third Wednesday of each month, except for July and August.  You are welcome to register to join us at our upcoming meeting.

Coaches Cafe

 ICF Members meet  informally in small group settings for networking, sharing and learning from colleagues.  Cafes are held regularly and most months  a cafe is held in Toronto, Hamilton or other surrounding areas.  Cafes are usually held in a coffee shop and are loosely facilitated.

Webinars

Webinars are held as required on topics of interest to a subset of members.  Past webinars for instance have focused on ICF Accreditation, and How to Write a Winning Prism Award nomination.   There are plans for more webinars in the future.
