2022 Annual Awards Gala
Celebrating Belonging

Please join us for this FREE event. All are welcome!

Every year, ICF Toronto honours outstanding individuals and organizations who have demonstrated excellence in coaching and service to our larger community. This year we are inviting you to join us to joyfully recognize our 2022 award winners at our virtual Annual Awards Gala on Thursday, March 31st starting at 6:30 p.m.

We are celebrating the power of diversity and inclusion by highlighting the rich tapestry of individuals and organizations who are not only in the coaching field but also in the communities we serve. In the spirit of belonging, all are welcome to attend this year, even if you’re not a coach! Whether you’re an ICF member, a friend, an honouree, or a colleague, we want to share our enthusiasm for coaching and how it can impact your life and business.

The Awards Gala will introduce you to our Award Winners and features inspiring keynote speaker, Dr. Towanna Burrous. Stay for the afterparty so you can connect to winners, other coaches, business partners and community members.

The full event will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Gala: 6:30 to 7:00; Speaker 7:00 to 8:00; afterparty 8:00 to 8:30. See you there!

About the Keynote and Speaker

The Future of Coaching is Inclusive: As demand grows for coaches with specialized expertise, are you ready to coach people different from you? Dr. Towanna Burrous will discuss how coaches surround themselves with clients who are "just like me" and how that idea limits the ability to meet the increased demand for more coaches. She will also cover how you can improve your diversity awareness, leading to a more diverse practice.

Dr. Towanna Burrous: Dr. Burrous is President of CoachDiversity Institute, a best-selling author, trainer, and ICF professional certified coach based in Washington, DC. As a much sought-after executive coach, Towanna and the CoachDiversity team deliver training, curriculum, and customized diversity and leadership programs for corporate and individual clients.

CCE units are offered for the speaker portion of the Awards Gala, upon request.
