    Join the ICF Toronto Marketing & Communications Committee!

    Are you a member of ICF Toronto who has experience in digital marketing, communications, PR, advertising or social media? We’d love to have you on our Board of Director’s committee!

    ICF Toronto’s Board of Directors is looking for volunteers to join our Marketing & Communications Committee. The Marketing & Communications Committee helps to plan, manage and execute the marketing and communications for ICF Toronto’s activities and community engagement initiatives. The committee is led by two of our Board members: Abirambika Ravivarman and Lili Shalev-Shawn.

    You will collaborate with leaders in Toronto’s coaching community, meet some of the most respected global coaches, learn about the latest developments in the coaching sector and meet other coaches from across Toronto.

    Each volunteer will work closely with one of the Board members on their specific portfolio. You will have strategic influence and autonomy in managing the marketing/communications activity for that portfolio.

    The five portfolios are:

    1. DEI
    2. Programming/Events
    3. Membership & Volunteering
    4. Community & Corporate Outreach
    5. Education, Learning & Professional Development

    Join the ICF Toronto Programming Planning Committee!

    The Programming Planning Committee is a unique opportunity to work with world-class speakers in the context of supporting coach-specific professional development. The Planning Committee partners with the Co-Directors of Programming to plan and execute professional development events (live and virtual) that meet the needs of our Toronto members. If you feel passionate about coaching, serving, and networking, this is an opportunity you can’t miss!

    Key Responsibilities
    Co-lead the Programming portfolio with two Co-directors through:

    • planning overall programming for ICF Toronto chapter on topics that meet the needs of our members
    • locating and reviewing speaker proposals and selecting qualified professional presenters
    • ensuring in-person meeting logistics (space, food, room set up) are professionally and successfully executed
    • participating in program meetings (intro speakers, engage with members)
    • collaborating with other portfolio Directors (e.g., DEI, Marketing & Communications) to support marketing processes
    • participating in monthly Board portfolio meetings

    Estimated time investment:
    Up to 3 to 4 hours per week during special events (conferences, awards events, ICW, etc.), and on average, 1 hour per week.

    Are you ready to Co-Lead Transformation and Governance?

    ICF Toronto is recruiting for a volunteer to join the ICF Toronto Board! If successful, you will be co-leading through our Board’s transformation.

    In April 2023, ICF Global launched its three Strategic Priorities and new values of Collaboration, Humanity, Equity and Professionalism. Informed by this guidance, the Toronto Chapter Board is transitioning to a Board structure which embraces those values in conscious actions and decision making. At the April 27, 2023 ICF Toronto Board Strategy meeting our Board agreed in concept to a portfolio which integrates transformation and governance, including technology, secretarial and financial duties. This role is a co-lead position, and will provide focus for the successful transformation of our Board governance to represent DEI and our values, and to modernize our technology platform.

    Co-Director Transformation and Governance Position Description:
    Partners with the Board to advance and uphold our governance structures, and advance ICF Toronto’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment. As a co-leader of ICF Toronto Transformation and Governance function, this person will research, design and collaboratively implement technology, governance and financial programs that support our values and create a culture of belongingness.

    Functional Responsibilities

    • Serve as the co-leader for integrated Transformation and Governance efforts across the Chapter (including technology, secretarial, and financial functions).
    • Co-lead Transformation and Governance committee.
    • Act as an advisor to other portfolio Directors on technology, governance and financial strategies and implementation within their specific portfolios.
    • Review current processes, policies and procedures to ensure alignment with ICF Global commitments and DEI goals.
    • Collaborate with all portfolio leaders to practice sound financial management.
    • Stay on top of Association trends and best practices.
    • Collaborate with ICF Global governance and financial practices to ensure consistency and alignment, as required.

    We are looking for ICF Toronto Chapter member with the following experiences:

    • A member of ICF Global and the ICF Toronto Chapter, in good standing.
    • Passion for DEI advancement.
    • Team leadership.
    • Governance and financial frameworks.
    • Communication skills and collaboration skills.
