ICF Toronto’s Board of Directors is looking for volunteers to join our Marketing & Communications Committee. The Marketing & Communications Committee helps to plan, manage and execute the marketing and communications for ICF Toronto’s activities and community engagement initiatives. The committee is led by two of our Board members: Abirambika Ravivarman and Lili Shalev-Shawn.
You will collaborate with leaders in Toronto’s coaching community, meet some of the most respected global coaches, learn about the latest developments in the coaching sector and meet other coaches from across Toronto.
Each volunteer will work closely with one of the Board members on their specific portfolio. You will have strategic influence and autonomy in managing the marketing/communications activity for that portfolio.

Estimated time investment: Up to 3 to 4 hours per week during special events (conferences, awards events, ICW, etc.), and on average, 1 hour per week.

ICF Toronto is recruiting for a volunteer to join the ICF Toronto Board! If successful, you will be co-leading through our Board’s transformation.
In April 2023, ICF Global launched its three Strategic Priorities and new values of Collaboration, Humanity, Equity and Professionalism. Informed by this guidance, the Toronto Chapter Board is transitioning to a Board structure which embraces those values in conscious actions and decision making. At the April 27, 2023 ICF Toronto Board Strategy meeting our Board agreed in concept to a portfolio which integrates transformation and governance, including technology, secretarial and financial duties. This role is a co-lead position, and will provide focus for the successful transformation of our Board governance to represent DEI and our values, and to modernize our technology platform.
Co-Director Transformation and Governance Position Description: Partners with the Board to advance and uphold our governance structures, and advance ICF Toronto’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment. As a co-leader of ICF Toronto Transformation and Governance function, this person will research, design and collaboratively implement technology, governance and financial programs that support our values and create a culture of belongingness.
