    Position Description:

    • Oversees internal communications systems and processes
    • Updates and implements a marketing and communication plan
    • Maintains social media, website, newsletter processes, etc.
    • Implements marketing and communications plans in collaboration with other Directors
    • Manages chapter public relations efforts
    • Manages chapter affinity programs for members
    • Manages advertising for chapter
    • Sources and purchases chapter "swag"
    • Maintains ICF brand as per standards
    • Develops annual marketing and communication strategy

    Requirements for candidates:

    • Likes to network and build relationships
    • Very good written and oral communication skills
    • Lead a volunteer team
    • Previous marketing and communications work experience an asset
    • Organizational and time management skills
    • Must be an ICF Toronto chapter member with a paid activity fee

    Expected time investment:

    • Attend most Chapter meetings/events, (1.5 hrs/month)
    • Attend monthly Board meeting (excl. July & Aug.) via MS Teams (1.5 hrs/month)
    • Attend annual Board retreat/strategic planning sessions each year (3 per year, ½ day in person or virtual)
    • Work with volunteer team to deliver annual portfolio goals, (4-6 hours/month)

    Position Description:

    • Manages development and advancement of strategic partnerships between ICF Toronto and private and public sector organizations and associations to advance credentialed coaching and benefit ICF Toronto members through business development & professional growth (not for profit organizations are covered by Community Outreach portfolio)
    • Establishes an annual strategic Corporate Outreach plan with key priorities
    • Identifies resource requirements to support key priorities
    • Creates and leads event teams, as required, to execute priorities (i.e., HRPA annual conference)
    • Provides timely communication updates to the Board and members
    • Collaborates with Community Outreach portfolio to foster new or existing corporate partnerships and events
    • Leads sponsorship team for conferences (leverage existing and new partners)
    • Collaborates with other ICF chapters and Global to share best practices to enhance corporate outreach program
    • Manage annual budget for corporate sponsorships and events

    Requirements for candidates:

    • Customer management and relationship skills
    • Ability to represent ICF Toronto to local business entities 
    • Lead a volunteer team
    • Previous sales experience an asset
    • Organizational & time management skills

    Description of volunteer role:

    Our ICF Toronto Awards Judging Panel consists of 1 lead judge and 4 judges for a total of 5 on the judging panel. The judging panel has the responsibility of reviewing all nominations and selecting winners based on specific criteria for our annual awards program which includes:

    PRISM award for excellence in organizational coaching, both profit and not for profit.

    Lifetime Achievement award for lifetime of service and dedication to ICF Toronto, ICF Global and coaching profession.

    Outstanding Individual Contributor award recognizing outstanding contributions and service in any field of coaching.

    Volunteer of the Year award recognizing dedication and commitment of a volunteer(s) to supporting and enhancing the ICF Toronto Chapter.

    Partner of the Year award recognizing dedication and commitment of a partner of ICF Toronto who supports and enhances the ICF Toronto Chapter and the coaching profession.

    Time Commitment:

    Approximately 20-25 hours over nomination and selection period, (November- March) including 3-4 virtual meetings, time to review submissions, plus attendance at Toronto Annual Award Ceremony in March 2023 (tbc).

    Minimum Requirements:

    ICF credential, minimum ACC.

    Position Description:

    • Serve as the leader and point person for integrated DEI efforts across the Chapter
    • Lead DEI committee
    • Act as an Advisor to other Portfolio Directors on DEI strategies and implementation within their specific portfolios
    • Review current processes, policies and procedures to ensure alignment with DEI commitment
    • Research, develop and recommend creative strategies to meet DEI goals
    • Assist with the implementation of strategies to attract underrepresented groups in our membership
    • Collaborate with the Programs/Member Meetings team to create and source DEI learning activities and programs
    • Stay on top of industry DEI trends and best practices
    • Collaborate with ICF Global DEI to ensure consistency and alignment, as required
    • Develop a consistent and comprehensive Communication strategy/plan and collaborate with Marketing for implementation

    Requirements for candidates:

    • A passion for DEI advancement
    • Lived DEI experience
    • Team leadership
    • Understanding of DEI frameworks
    • Experience in project management
    • Strong communication skills and collaboration skills
    • Experience managing DEI initiatives preferred
    • ICF certified coach preferred
    • Must be an ICF Toronto chapter member with a paid activity fee
