Cultural Humility in Allyship

I'm excited to announce the launch of our workshop focused on "Cultural Humility in Allyship". Across organizations worldwide, cultural competence has long been a sought-after ideal. However, it's essential to realize that achieving complete competence in understanding an individual's cultural identity is, in fact, an impossible goal. This realization isn't new - it was acknowledged years ago that striving for all-encompassing cultural competence is not only unattainable but also limiting and ego-driven.

The evolution in our understanding prompts us to move towards cultural humility. This approach champions humility over absolute knowledge, encouraging a lifelong commitment to learning and valuing the complexity and richness of other cultures and identities. It's about acknowledging that we don't, and can't, know everything – and that is perfectly okay.

I invite you to join us on this transformative journey towards cultural humility. Our workshop isn't about simply securing a seat; it's about taking a significant step towards a broader mindset, deeper understanding, inclusivity, and genuine allyship.

Let's learn, grow, and embrace this important shift together. Secure your spot today, and let's embark on the path to becoming more humble allies in our beautifully diverse world. Use promotional code “ICF” for a 40% discount off the original price.

From our graduates:

The biggest tangible change I’ve noticed from participating in the CRCP, is how I talk to my clients about resilience. What I appreciated the most about this program, is that it provided me with a workable framework to share the ideas around resilience with clients.

As a result of this program, I have achieved more optimal balance and a greater sense of well-being. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to increase their own resilience and coach others to increase theirs.

Mentor Coaching with Jo Bennett, ACPC, PCC, ACE

Engage with confidence in a personalized 1:1 space where you can flourish as a coach!

For five years I have mentored clients in the early stages of their coaching journey: individuals in ICF accredited education programs, those applying for an ACC or PCC credential, as well as ICF members renewing their ACC credential. I am specifically trained in mentor coaching, and I am registered as a mentor coach with the ICF.

I take a coach approach with mentor clients to deepen their self reflection skills, collaborating to explore growth edges while celebrating current gifts. There is ample time to steep in the ICF Code of Ethics and Core Competencies for rich alignment. We co-generate thoughtful feedback on two or more recorded calls. My coach clients build on insights discovered during and between our sessions, as they witness their growth in their own client’s results.

More information is available on my website: https://solomojo.ca/icf-mentor-coach/

It is a joy and privilege to work with newer coaches. Their dedication to learning inspires me to grow and thrive as a professional.

I look forward to working with you!
