VISION 2020 Conference and PRISM Awards and Awards Gala

Notice of Postponement

After reviewing and evaluating guidance from health and government authorities regarding COVID-19, and conducting a risk assessment, we have made the decision to postpone both our PRISM Awards and the ICF Toronto Awards Gala (March 26, 2020) and VISION 2020 Conference (March 27, 2020) in Toronto.

ICF Toronto’s Board of Directors and Conference and Awards Planning Committees have considered every possibility to safely hold these events as planned. We do not want to risk contributing to the transmission of COVID-19 or put any individuals in our coaching community at risk of needing to self-quarantine. We learned that several participants, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors would no longer be able to participate in a face-to-face gathering given the Coronavirus situation. We also consulted with ICF Global. The health and well-being of our community is paramount and because of this we feel that holding these events, particularly with 240+ attendees anticipated for VISION 2020, would not be prudent at this time.

We recognize the inconvenience and disappointment that this will present for many. We also appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we all deal with these unique circumstances together. Our resilience as a coaching community will get us through this challenge.

This is a very dynamic situation. In keeping with our mission to support our membership through learning and networking, and leading the advancement of the coaching profession, we are currently exploring opportunities to provide other professional development offering CCEUs, virtually.

We will provide information about a rescheduled date for the conference and maybe those of you who were unable to attend because of scheduling conflicts this March will be able to make the new date for the conference.

We also realize that many of the decisions being made due to the transmission of COVID-19 may be having an impact on you and your business. We will keep in mind what we can do to support you during this unpredictable period as we plan our upcoming events and will be communicating further details about virtual professional development .
