Kanchan Prinsloo (Lead Judge), MA (Leadership), CEC, PCC

Kanchan is a highly recognized and experienced Leadership Coach and former ICF Toronto Board member. Kanchan will lead the judges panel through the selection process for the ICF Toronto Annual Awards program for all three Awards.

Kanchan's skills draw on over 25 years of senior organizational experience including operations, strategic planning, team development, and relationship building to support her coaching and facilitation. She coaches and supports C-suite executives, senior management, and high potentials. Her coaching strength is using her innate curiosity and building trust to ask bold questions of clients.


Fabricio Avila, CPCC, PCC

With 20 years of global experience, Fabricio has lived and worked in six different countries. He has contributed and led teams in both well-established and startup environments. Fabricio’s educational background in electrical engineering allows for a natural understanding of the language and methodology in the technology sector.

From individual contributor to senior management levels, his experience and leadership span across diverse areas of the organization including, software engineering, product management, project management, learning & development, and talent management.

Recipient of the ICF Toronto PRISM Award 2019, Fabricio is a proponent of the evolution of people management through coaching. That belief serves as the foundation of his work with leaders of all levels, experienced or new.

As a coach, Fabricio is fueled by his passion for working with people to help them unlock their potential, empowering them to recognize and act on their unique abilities as a leader.

Through his collaborative leadership style and coaching expertise, he makes a stand for openness in communication. He promotes alignment above agreement and enables you to keep a sharp focus on what matters.

Ralph Cochrane, PCC

Ralph helps organizations and their leaders create meaningful and measurable results through coaching and leadership development programs.

As the president of Nexus Coaching Professionals Inc, Ralph and his team work with passionate, courageous and action-oriented leaders who believe that coaching can be a catalyst for them to achieve their goals and be a positive contribution to others. They help clients identify what's important, how to show up as leaders who can have impact, and how to enroll others in their vision.

Ralph gained extensive coaching, leadership development, and project management experience during a 15-year career in the financial services industry. He has coached over 250 mid and senior leaders globally across industries and is an expert on building and implementing coaching programs across organizations.

Maggie DiStasi, ACPC, PCC

Maggie DiStasi works with PeopleDynamics Learning Group (PDLG) as an associate coach and as a member of the faculty of their Business Coaching Advantage Program™ that is both ICF Accredited and WABC Accredited (Level 1- RCC)™. She brings a wealth of business experience as well as coaching and facilitation experience to her work as an instructor and mentor coach.

Maggie specializes in career transition and leadership coaching. She helps people navigate the uncertainty of career transition so they know what to do next and can start taking action. She also works with executives and emerging leaders to develop the mindful leadership skills needed to lead in an age of fast and constant change. She invites her clients to be thoughtful about how they are showing up in order to create sustainable change and success.

Maggie is a trained public speaker and long-term Toastmaster, and has keynoted and delivered speaking presentations across Toronto on the topics of career transition and mindful leadership. She holds a B.A. in Management Economics from the University of Guelph and is currently enrolled in the Strategic Leadership Advanced Certificate Program at University of Toronto.

Mary-Ellen Hynd, MBA, CPCC, PCC

A whole life leadership coach known for moving ideas to meaningful action for individuals and organizations, Mary-Ellen specializes in coaching to develop a creative versus reactive leadership mindset to achieve one’s personal and professional best. Using values as a compass for decision making, she brings sustainability and communication lenses to her work.

Mary-Ellen coaches mid to senior level executives, healthcare leaders, small and medium size business owners and individuals embarking on a new stage in career / life. Physician leaders are a unique area of expertise. Mary-Ellen was recruited as a coach for the Schulich Executive Education Centre’s Physician Leadership Development Program to provide individual and group coaching plus guidance for complex action learning projects.

Mary-Ellen created and leads the Coaching to Develop a Leadership Mindset workshop series for the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Academy. An adjunct professor for Humber’s School of Media Studies & Information Technology, she designed and taught several courses including Leadership & Teamwork, Presentation Skills, Internal Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Ethics.
